What we offer

Royal Blue Executors provide a number of services.  These include the time before a client's bereavement in helping plan for this inevitable time and also helping the client downsize and/or move to care.  Post a death we help with probate support, closing all affairs and Estate House Clearances for the family relatives and executors.

Planning for your bereavement:

Before you or a relative passes there are a number of key activities that require planning and consideration.  Often these are either neglected or just too hard to contemplate, however by not doing them then leaves this action to grieving relatives and family.  You may want to move to a smaller home or a Care home and need help with closing down the family home and sorting, selling and moving - we can manage that process for you.

Royal Blue Executors can help:

  • Plan your funeral down to the detail if that is what you want
  • Prepare an Executor Guide with you to stipulate what and to whom specific items should go once you leave
  • Ensure your family knows where all your papers and special items are once you pass
  • Help you downsize from your family home and support the re-distribution or selling of high value items
  • Support your transition and move to a Care Home and help sort your possessions and affairs

Probate Services Estate House Clearances

After a bereavement

When somebody dies, it can be very difficult knowing what the next steps are, and who has the responsibility for taking them. This responsibility typically alls to the next of kin.  If the deceased has no next of kin nearby, or able to step in and take responsibility for them, the situation becomes very difficult to manage.   It is not something a solicitor or family doctor can do and it is a huge responsibility to place on a neighbour’s shoulders. We provide Probate Support and Estate House Clearances and all related services.

Royal Blue Executors can help:

  • appointing an undertaker to collect the deceased and waiting till it is done
  • securing the deceased’s property and removing valuable items from the property for safekeeping and secure storage
  • informing relatives and friends, and registering the death within 5 days
  • ensuring that the funeral home gets the paperwork it needs before any steps can be taken to prepare for a cremation or burial
  • arranging the funeral
  • locating information on the deceased’s assets
  • have the primary residence valued for Probate and Inheritance Tax purposes
  • selling, donating and recycling the contents of the home, the garage, loft and shed
  • cleaning the property
  • arranging the house sale
  • preparing all information needed for the Probate application
  • arranging for the payment of Inheritance Tax, if necessary
  • collating all funds in to a Client Account and arranging for specific gifts and inheritances, as laid out in the will, to be paid
