Royal Blue Executors offer an Estate House Clearance service – sorting and emptying the home after an owner has transitioned from their current home to care home or passed away.

  • Each home and property is cleared from top to bottom of perishables, clothing, books, all bric-a-brac and furnishings.
  • We will empty and clean all lofts, sheds and garages leaving the house completely clear.
  • Removed items are carefully sorted and re-homed, re-used or recycled as far as possible. Any identifying labels are removed and all waste is dealt with responsibly.
  • High value items are valued for probate purposes and removed into secure storage. Items with possibly sentimental value, such as photographs and collected trinkets, are retained for the benefit of the heirs.
  • If the family is not within the area there is also a service to photograph key items for the family to decide how to treat the relevant items.
  • If the house is to be marketed and sold, a deep-clean can be organised and any minor repairs, painting work or garden clearances done before an estate agent is engaged.
  • Additionally Royal Blue Executors will act as representative for the client or family sourcing and managing the Estate Agent – with frequent liaison and permissions from the client of family.

Karen’s experience of the probate process means that relevant paperwork is sourced and retained to make sure that the estate can be closed down properly and the Probate application started ASAP.  Please bear in mind that we can act as an Executor as well – should the family need that service or are based far away – like in another country.
